Antelope Air Defense System
Overview
Developed by the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST), the Antelope Air Defense System is a land-based air defense system centered around the Sky Sword I missile, mainly tasked with intercepting low-altitude targets such as helicopters, UAVs, and aircraft. Equipped with advanced features such as omnidirectional targeting, off-boresight locking, and infrared counter-countermeasures, the system enhances the independent combat capabilities of units and the air defense of bases, playing a pivotal role in Taiwan’s low-altitude defense.
