ROCAF Chief Gen. Cheng recently inspected the combat readiness of forces in Northern Taiwan, gaining insights into how each unit was performing during the Han Kuang 42 field training exercises. In addition to being briefed on equipment capabilities and command and control procedures, Gen. Cheng also observed the training of participating reservists as well as counter-drone operational procedures.
During his inspection, Gen. Cheng reminded commanders at all levels to control risk by being aware of their personnel at all times, noting that operations could only be executed smoothly if safety is prioritized. Finally, Gen. Cheng commended participating personnel for their commitment to training and thanked them for their efforts in performing their duties.
