To thank and recognize Magictex Chairman Chen Kuo-chin for his substantial support for the military, ROCAF Chief Gen. Cheng recently hosted Chairman Chen at Zhongyong Base.
During his visit, Chairman Chen noted that ROCAF personnel bear the important responsibility of defending the nation’s skies, standing guard year-round, day and night. He expressed his deep admiration and respect for service members, whose sacrifices have laid the foundation for the nation’s development, prosperity, and security. Thus, Chairman Chen wished to thank all service members on behalf of all the people of Taiwan.
Gen. Cheng thanked Magictex for its longstanding support of the military, noting that Singtex’s generosity and support have undoubtedly boosted the morale of service members nationwide. Gen. Cheng later added that service members would continue to maintain their proud ethos of “loyal to country and duty, courageous in shouldering responsibility and sacrifice”. Upholding their duty of defending the nation, every service member would strive to live up to the expectations of its citizens.
