ROCAF Chief Gen. Cheng recently inspected the combat readiness of air defense forces in Northern Taiwan, personally visiting each unit to better understand preparations and encouraging service members to fully dedicate themselves to their duties. To strengthen combat capabilities, Gen. Cheng reminded personnel to fulfill their counseling and maintenance duties.
Gen. Cheng patiently listened to each unit’s briefing before expressing concern about their training and duties. He later requested unit commanders to enhance control over command and communications to meet the demanding needs of a dynamic battlefield, thereby preserving military capabilities during wartime.
Finally, Gen. Cheng reminded units to uphold military discipline by conducting briefs on drunk driving, drugs, and sexual harassment. Furthermore, all officers were encouraged to exercise compassion and emotional control when managing subordinates. By listening to and caring for subordinates, we can create a friendly and positive work environment.
