ROCAF Chief Gen. Cheng recently presided over the “Class A 2023 Graduation and Pilot Wings Ceremony” at the Air Force Flight Training Command, which was attended by many of the graduating pilots’ families.
The ceremony began with Gen. Cheng personally pinning pilot wings on each of the graduating pilots, commending them for their skill and fortitude. Gen. Cheng welcomed them to the ranks of those defending the nation’s skies, reminding them of the importance of upholding high moral standards, maintaining strict flight discipline, and adhering to life-long learning. He urged them to constantly strive for excellence, committing themselves to becoming highly respected pilots.
Finally, Gen. Cheng thanked the flight instructors for their patience and dedication, as well as the graduating pilot’s families for their encouragement and support. Gen. Cheng noted that the graduating pilots were able to fully dedicate themselves to their training thanks to the support from both their families and instructors. With their skills and knowledge, the ROCAF will be in better and safer hands in the future.
