President Chiang Kai-shek, following the will of the founding father, established the Aviation Class in Nanjing in the 18th year of the Republic of China, marking the beginning of flight training. In the 20th year of the R.O.C., it was relocated to Jianqiao, Hangzhou, with its alma mater, and during the resistance against Japan, it was moved to Kunming. The primary class was temporarily relocated to Laho, India. After the victory of the anti-Japanese War in the 34th year of the Republic of China, it returned to Jianqiao. In the 38th year of the R.O.C., it was relocated to its current location in Gangshan. On August 1, 1980, it was restructured as the Flight Training Command. Later, it was officially reorganized as the Air Force Flight Training Command on December 1, 2023.
