Emblem of the Education, Training and Doctrine Development Command

Note to the design of the insignia:

I.The layout is designed in blue, while, red, and golden yellow symbolizing the ROCAF.

II.The outer rim of the plum blossom was designed with the interlink of five arrows standing for the 5 major functions the command shall perform incrementally: supervision of school education, refinement of military training, combat training and testing, study of frontier tactics, and realization of doctrine development.

III.The eagle wing represents flying training and tactical tests.

IV.The plum blossom designed in the shape of the Chinese character “Xun, means training”, constitutes the endeavor and courage of the command in studying the tactics for winning the enemy, refinement of military training. It also symbolizes the all-out training in the base and operation of Jiashan and Shizishan Cave Depot.
