On November 30, the Air Rescue Group was ordered to deploy a UH-60M helicopter for a maritime search and rescue (SAR) mission in the outer sea of Changhua. Despite the helicopter rescue harness being initially unavailable due to strong winds, the rescue team persisted and managed to rescue 3 crew members at 16:04. After landing safely at Chiayi Air Base, the Coast Guard Administration stepped in to provide further assistance. This success not only demonstrates the training and expertise of the Air Rescue Group, but also exemplifies the Air Force’s contribution to humanitarian aid.
