The Air Rescue Group dispatched an S-70C aircraft to the sea off the coast of Chiayi in the early morning of the 15th to carry out a humanitarian rescue mission for a Korean oil tanker at sea, and successfully carried six foreign crew members on board. The Air Rescue Group then landed at the Ching-Chuan-Kang Air Force Base and transferred the wounded to the Taichung Veterans General Hospital for medical treatment, demonstrating the results of their regular, diligent training and the spirit of loving and helping people.
